Erin Donovan, Executive Director

Erin joined HopeSprings as the Executive Director in February 2011. Prior to her work at HopeSprings, she served in the public and private sectors for 10 years in the following areas: operations and fiscal management; fundraising both at the corporate and individual level; extensive grant and proposal writing; community health education training including HIV/AIDS; nonprofit program management; 3 years of Africa experience; mobilizing and working with volunteers; and performance management and evaluation. She has consulted for Small Business Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and the U.S. Department of Labor.

Erin has a wonderful, supportive husband named Brian, and 2 rambunctious kids, Keegan and Kaylee. When not at work or at home with her children, you can find her leading worship at Central Presbyterian Church, running on the streets of Towson, or hosting get-togethers for friends and family!

Misty Gaynair, Volunteer Coordinator

Misty Gaynair serves on staff as the HopeSprings Volunteer Coordinator.

She has always had a passion for doing work focused on helping others locally and globally. It was that passion that led her to purse her Bachelor degree in Organizational Communication form Middle Tennessee State University. After receiving her degree in 2013, she moved to Baltimore to work in non-profit development. Baltimore has always been her home away from home since she first visited for a mission trip to Curtis Bay in 2007. Misty enjoys being creative to achieve efficient organizational results as well as in her leisure time cooking and appreciating the arts with friends and family.

Nancy Lanagan, Director of Philanthropy

Nancy joined HopeSprings in January 2016.  As Director of Philanthropy, Nancy is responsible for fundraising strategies, major giving, foundation grants, annual giving and special events.

Nancy most recently directed major gift fundraising at the Helping Up Mission in support of the homeless and addicted in Baltimore, and at World Relief raising funds and awareness for anti-trafficking, HIV/AIDS prevention, refugee resettlement and agricultural development efforts in countries such as Rwanda, Malawi and Cambodia.  Prior to that, Nancy spent nearly 30 years in corporate sales and management, consulting, and partnership marketing for companies such as SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and the National Aquarium in Baltimore.  Her transition to the non-profit sector was powered by a desire to apply her experience on behalf of the most vulnerable, by matching their needs to people with resources and a heart to serve.

Nancy is a Baltimore native. She is married and has two grown children, Jamie and Erin. Nancy and Kevin live in Lutherville and attend Grace Fellowship Church.  In her free time, Nancy loves reading novels, bird-watching, taking long walks, the beach and dinners with friends and family.

Rebecca Haworth, Director of Curriculum & Product Development

Rebecca Haworth joined our team at the start of 2015 and has been working to develop our training cirriculum previously used for the Journey. Rebecca has an educational background in Occupational therapy and master of Public health concentrating in Community health and development. She enjoys hiking and biking with her husband… for the first time this spring/summer is trying her hand at urban gardening!
